Divide and Conquer is how a small group of criminal elitists, who control everything we read, see, or hear, continue to maintain power and control over their slave population. We will continue to be their slave because of our emotions and reactions to the situations they create for us and then play out using their puppets on their stage. They have utilized this control mechanism to divide people and cause infighting among their larger slave population for eons.
This age old technique works and is being played out on us like a game of chess. It's the "how" and the "why" we are not coming together and uniting against this small group of criminals and their minions who carry out their game of political BS. We need to get rid of division and learn tolerance. Tolerance is not acceptance and does not represent condoning other people's behavior or actions.
Short Definition of Tolerance:
The ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior, that one does not necessarily condone. To recognize and respect the rights, beliefs and practices of others. It's that simple!Please don't fall victim to this age old control mechanism of Divide and Conquer.
Case study: Thailand
For the third time in the last two months of 2013, hundreds of thousands of peaceful protesters took to the streets from early morning until late night, paralyzing Thailand’s capital of Bangkok throughout the day. Major roads were turned into walking streets as tens of thousands of protesters assembled at each of over 10 stages throughout the city’s major intersections.
The regime’s police have claimed the number of protesters at 4pm was approximately 135,000 – which would still dwarf by nearly 3 times the largest pro-regime rallies at the height of its popularity years ago. However, pictures, accounts, security officials and the fact that people were constantly arriving throughout the day as others left to sustain the crowds indicate a million or more turned out. The city’s elevated train alone moved over 700,000 people, most of whom were protesters.
Meanwhile, the regime’s proxy prime minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, placeholder for her convicted criminal brother, fugitive, Thaksin Shinawatra who openly runs the country from abroad as he evades a 2 year jail sentence, multiple arrest warrants and a long list of pending court cases, has fled to Thailand’s northern provinces where the remaining stronghold of the regime’s “red shirt” mobs desperately attempt to cling to power through a campaign of fear and intimidation.
Despite overwhelming opposition, increasing awareness around the world of the cartoonish nepotism and illegitimacy of the current regime, Yingluck Shinawatra was once again placed at the top of the candidate’s list for Thaksin Shianwatra’s “Peua Thai Party” (For Thais Party) for upcoming February 2014 elections being boycotted by opposition parties.
Who are the Protesters & What Do They Want?
The protesters demand the end of the Thaksin Shinawatra regime. To understand why, we must first understand who Thaksin Shinawatra is and what he has done over the past decade:
- In the late 1990′s, Thaksin was an adviser to notorious private equity firm, the Carlyle Group. He pledged to his foreign contacts that upon taking office, he would still serve as a “matchmaker” between the US equity fund and Thai businesses.
- Thaksin was Thailand’s prime minister from 2001-2006. Has since dominated the various reincarnations of his political party – and still to this day runs the country by proxy, via his nepotist appointed sister, Yingluck Shinawatra.
- In 2001 he privatized Thailand’s resources and infrastructure including the nation’s oil conglomerate PTT - much to Wall Street’s delight.
- In 2003, he would commit Thai troops to the US invasion of Iraq, despite widespread protests from both the Thai military and the public. Thaksin would also allow the CIA to use Thailand for its abhorrent rendition program.
- Also in 2003, he initiated what he called a “war on drugs.” 3,000 were extrajudicially murdered in the streets over the course of just 90 days. It would later turn out that more than half of those killed had nothing to even do with the drug trade. In this act alone, Thaksin earned himself the title as worst human rights offender in Thai history, and still he was far from finished.
- In 2004, he oversaw the killing of 85 protesters in a single day during his mishandled, heavy-handed policy in the country’s troubled deep south. The atrocity is now referred to as the “Tak Bai incident.”
- Also in 2004, Thaksin attempted to ramrod through a US-Thailand Free-Trade Agreement (FTA) without parliamentary approval, backed by the US-ASEAN Business Council who just before the 2011 elections that saw Thaksin’s sister Yingluck Shinawatra brought into power, hosted the leaders of Thaksin’s “red shirt” “United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship” (UDD) in Washington DC.
- Throughout his administration he was notorious for intimidating the press, and crushing dissent. According to Amnesty International, 18 human rights defenders were either assassinated or disappeared during his first term in office. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) claimed in its report, “Attacks on the Press 2004: Thailand” that the regime was guilty of financial interference, legal intimidation, and coercion of the press.
- Since the 2006 coup that toppled his regime, Thaksin has been represented by US corporate-financier elites via their lobbying firms including, Kenneth Adelman of the Edelman PR firm (Freedom House, International Crisis Group,PNAC), James Baker of Baker Botts (CFR, Carlyle Group), Robert Blackwill (CFR) of Barbour Griffith & Rogers (BGR), Kobre & Kim, Bell Pottinger (and here) and currently Robert Amsterdam of Amsterdam & Partners (Chatham House).
The protesters then, see the privatization and selling off of Thailand’s natural resources and infrastructure, the pending FTA’s the regime has been attempting to pass, the chaos in the nation’s south, the atrocious “war on drugs,” and the use of Thailand to serve the strategic interests of the West, in particular the United States, as intolerable. They believe that “elections” and an electorate that continue to return such a regime to power, time and time again, is illegitimate and in dire need of reform.They have a list of very specific demands that set them apart from “color revolutions” backed by the US for the purpose of mere regime change centered solely on empty rhetoric like “democracy” and “freedom.” The demands are as follows:
1. No Amnesty - This refers to an amnesty bill designed by and for Thaksin Shinawatra to absolve himself of a decade of plundering, lying, and mass murder. While the government eventually backed off, it was only because massive street protests were mobilized. When the Constitution Court declared the bill unconstitutional, the ruling regime announced that it no longer recognized the authority of the court – even while using constitutionality to condemn the protests. Even though it is considered “dead,” Thaksin’s entire future depends on it eventually passing. Protesters feel the only way to truly kill this bill, is to remove entirely the regime attempting such an absurd abuse of power.2. Reform Before Elections - The anti-regime protesters are not, nor have they ever suggested that elections be permanently suspended. Instead, it is recognized that elections now, with no fundamental change to a system that has allowed a mass murdering convicted criminal to run the country by proxy from Dubai will only bring the entire nation back to square one.3. Restore Article 190 - Article 190 of the Thai constitution requires that all treaties be approved by the parliament before they can be signed. In 2004, this mechanism had prevented Thaksin Shinawatra from unilaterally passing a US-Thai free trade agreement, and was one of many attempted circumventions of the law that led to his ouster in 2006. His nepotist-appointed sister Yingluck Shinawatra, has now managed to amend it making it possible for her to unilateral approve treaties (specifically unpopular FTA’s). Protesters would like to see this reversed.
4. The Re-Nationalization of Thailand’s Oil - Thailand’s oil giant, PTT, was privatized and sold off to foreign multinationals under Thaksin Shinawatra in late 2001. Tremendous wealth has been siphoned out of Thailand and sent overseas, particularly to Chevron, one of the many sponsors on the US-ASEAN Business Council that directly supports the Shinawatra regime.

5. Keep Thailand Anti-GMO, Anti-IP - The current Thai establishment resisting the Thaksin regime has been stalwartly defending against GMO and “intellectual property” (IP) laws pushed on them by the United States, the UK, and the EU. In fact, one of the main points of attack by Thaksin Shinawatra’s Washington lobbyists, was attacking the military council that ousted Thaksin for ignoring US pharmaceutical patents while producing cheaper drugs for poor patients. Regarding GMO, Monsanto has been desperately trying to overrun Thailand’s food security but to no avail. Would it surprise readers to know that the US-ASEAN Business Council directly supporting Thaksin Shinawatra and his political machine also includes Monsanto?6. Keep Thailand Sovereign - It was recently revealed that the current regime hired the US lobbying firm of Davenport McKesson to, among other things, help arrange the building of a US Navy base in Thailand. Of course, considering the other demands of the protesters, this is unacceptable. Not only must this deal be investigated it must be rolled back and the mechanisms that have allowed it to proceed as far as it did in the first place, be taken apart permanently.
Students from Chulalongkorn University had brought up this issue at the Siam site yesterday and signs denouncing the US Navy base had already begun to circulate. The regime has since denied this, and the original PDF found on the US lobbying disclosure site FARA has been promptly taken down (it can be found here on Scribd).
What’s Next?
Protesters had promised to open roads late Sunday and promptly did so. The masses shifted from the multitude of stages across the city to the permanent protest encampment at Democracy Monument in the old quarter of Bangkok. Others moved to Bangkok’s Din Daeng area to surround the police station and the site where the regime plans to hold registration for an election only they will be running in. The goal is to disrupt this and prevent even show elections from taking place – forcing the regime to further expose its illegitimacy and eventually collapse.
For Thaksin Shinawatra and his foreign sponsors, they can afford to cling to power to the bitter end. After all, neither has anything to lose, and everything to gain. It will be their proxies who pay the price when the inevitable happens – and the longer they help Thaksin cling to power, the graver the consequences will be when they finally fail.
The anti-regime forces have proven they can mobilize unprecedented numbers time and time again, and have demonstrated that not only are the protest leaders becoming better organized and their message spreading, but those under their various banners are also becoming better organized in smaller, smarter groups. For the regime, the prospect of “riding out” unrest is not an option.
The Region long Divided and Conquered by the Empire:
Fascist Yellow Shirt Royalist Gangs Regroup to Destroy ThailandDespite the government's agreement to drop an amnesty bill which would have possible granted amnesty to the exiled Pro-Life Thaksin Shinawatra, the Royalist fanatics, Pro-Choice, opposed to the (still overwhelmingly popular) Thaksin and his sister Yingluck (now the Prime Minister) have expanded their protest demonstrations, and have now resorted to the fascist tactics of 2005-6, when they occupied the Government House (the seat of government) and shut down the international airport. This time they have occupied the Finance Ministry.
After a large protest (more than 100,000), a crowd of demonstrators lead by former deputy Prime Minister, Suthep Thaugsuban, Monday raided the compound of Thailand's Finance Ministry, and later also forced their way into the foreign ministry compound. Suthep was shouting instructions to protesters from atop a large truck. "Everyone get in the building!" Suthep said protesters had chosen to occupy the Finance Ministry because it is at the heart of the government. "From now on, this government can no longer transfer money," he said. "Not a single coin will be used by the Thaksin regime anymore."
Suthep said he would not be satisfied by the dissolution of Parliament or by the resignation of members of the government led by Ms. Yingluck. "We will not stop fighting until the Thaksin regime is entirely eradicated from Thailand," he told the crowd on Sunday.
The Yingluck government has pushed a massive upgrade of the country's infrastructure, regarding water management and high-speed rail, in conjunction with China. The issue of the Kra Canal and the development of landmasses transportation and water management were recently supported by Thaksin on his website - which was certainly seen as a dire threat by the British Royalty (Rothschild puppet) which control the Thai Monarchy.
With the world financial system in a state of terminal collapse, the survival of the bankrupt British financial empire, centered on the Inter-Alpha Group of banks, depends on the ancient imperial mandate of “divide and conquer” to break up alliances of sovereign nations, and to force through its global financial dictates. The stability of Southeast Asia under the umbrella of ASEAN has long been on the imperial target list, largely because of ASEAN’s dogged commitment to maintain unity through respect for the sovereign rights of its ten member-states, and to maintain close relations with China.
Thailand, a founding member of ASEAN, is today the weak link in the Association, as a result of the coup carried out against the popularly elected Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra in 2006, by a faction of the military which is closely aligned with the monarchy.
The coup was followed by a series of dictatorial actions by the military junta and its corrupt courts to impose a British-puppet regime on the country, and to carry out several bloody crackdowns on popular opposition to the dictatorship.
Now, over the past several weeks, throwthrowing aside all pretenses of either democracy or the rule of law, the head of the Thai military has declared through its actions that the military—not the government—rules Thailand. Claiming to be defending the monarchy, it is proceeding to destroy both Thailand and ASEAN as a whole, on behalf of British imperial designs.
The Military Moves
Beginning on April 22, 2012, the military, with the support of Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya and the fascist gang of fanatic royalists known as the Yellow Shirts, has launched new military assaults on Thailand’s far poorer and weaker neighbor, Cambodia, resulting in several days of artillery exchanges, hitting targets 21 km within Cambodian territory, and leaving a dozen or more dead on the two sides. Supposedly provoked by territorial disputes which had in fact been settled by international agreements decades ago, the Thai actions are aimed not only at using warfare as an excuse for dictatorial policies domestically, but clearly serve the imperial purpose of disrupting ASEAN itself, and intensifying the “ring around China.”

Since the military coup against the popularly elected former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, Thailand has been ruled by a corrupt monarchy, itself under the thumb of the British empire. Major infrastructure projects like those shown above and highlighted below are prime targets.
Following an earlier round of military exchanges on the Thai-Cambodian border in February, massive pressure was brought on the Thai government by the U.S. and other nations to accept ambodia’s call for international mediation. Bangkok flatly rejected any UN intervention, but Prime Minister Abhisit reluctantly agreed to accept a mediating role from ASEAN, whichis now chaired by Indonesia. After a meeting of the Thai and Cambodian sides in Indonesia, the Thai government agreed to allow ASEAN’s Indonesian observers to set up camp in the conflicted border areas. At about the same time, Abhisit also gave in to domestic and international pressure to hold elections, which were tentatively scheduled for June. However, the Thai military would have none of it, refusing to accept any observers, and is widely expected to sabotage the elections, knowing an election would almost certainly be won by the opposition supporters of deposed Prime Minister Thaksin. Army chief Gen. Prayuth Chan-Ocha, the architect of the bloody military crackdown against the opposition “Red Shirt” demonstrations last year, and a leading player in the military coup against Thaksin in 2006, has decided that the Abhisit government has become expendable. Although Prayuth has repeatedly denied any intention to carry out a coup, he has in fact carried out a cold coup by simply taking charge, ignoring the government’s decisions and orders—and, in particular, ignoring the government’s agreement to accept ASEAN observers. Prayuth and Defense Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwonlast even travelled to Jakarta on their own April 18 to “explain” to the Indonesians why neither the Thai government nor ASEAN will be allowed to have anything to say about the Thai military’s intention to use force against Cambodia, and that they absolutely would not allow any Indonesian (ASEAN) observers, despite their own ernment’s agreement to allow such observers. The fact that ASEAN is being told to drop dead by one of its founding members is a serious threat to the institution of ASEAN itself—which would be a victory for the British imperial design to set Asia aflame and encircle China with chaos. On April 21, three days after the generals told the Indonesians to keep out, the Thai military launched its current round of attacks on Cambodian positions across the northeast border. General Prayuth, hardly interested in remaining “above politics,” has openly instructed the Thai people that they must “vote to protect the monarchy,” i.e., vote against the pro-Thaksin opposition. To drive home the point, Prayuth personally directed that lèse majesté charges, which are deadly serious in monarchical Thailand, be brought against many of the pro-Thaksin Red Shirt leaders; 13 radio stations, associated with the opposition, were also shut down. Among the probable casualties of this insanity are the great infrastructure development projects across the region. A primary purpose of ASEAN has been to facilitate regional infrastructure development policies, crucial if the region is to escape from the poverty which still prevails as a legacy of the colonial era. These projects include the Mekong River development plans (as highlighted here: www.seawapa.com) among Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, and China, based on the Tennesee Valley Authority (TVA) program under President Franklin Roosevelt. Also threatened is the “Asian Railroad,” high-speed rail connections through Thailand, to be built primarily by China, both north-to-south from China through Laos and Thailand to Malaysia and Singapore, and east-towest from China through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand to Myanmar. Again, the British Imperialists could not be more pleased. This fascist/monarchical cold coup in Thailand is not only a direct threat to ASEAN, but also to China and to the world, in the midst of the general collapse of the global financial system. Thailand’s opposition would do well to identify the British imperial interests behind this cold (but getting hotter) coup, restore the nation’s historic ties to U.S. republican forces which have helped Thailand battle the British Empire, and join the fight for a new world financial order based on Glass-Steagall principles.
A Tale of Two Protests: The Ukraine and Thailand
Western hypocrisy on full display as it backs pro-EU protesters in Ukraine, condemns Thai protests against US-backed regime in Thailand.
Ongoing protests in Ukraine and Thailand have both featured protesters attempting to storm and hold government buildings. Both appear to be preparing lengthy sieges of buildings they are unable to take, and both have the goal of ousting the governments in their respective nations. However, the West finds one of these noble, the other not.
The “Noble” Ukrainian Protests

CNN gives us a transparent display of this hypocrisy. In their article, “Ukraine police accused of violent crackdown on pro-EU protests,” CNN claims:
Some 10,000 demonstrators against the Ukraine’s decision to not sign a landmark trade deal with the European Union descended on a square outside a monastery early Saturday in response to a police crackdown on the earlier protests.
The emboldened demonstrators waved Ukrainian and EU flags and sang the national anthem outside the St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, where groups of protesters retreated earlier after a sweep by riot police left seven people hospitalized and dozens under arrest at Independence Square.
Three top opposition leaders called for resignation of President Viktor Yanukovych as well as new presidential and parliamentary elections, according to a statement released by Vitaliy Klitchko, Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Oleg Tyagnybok.
As for the “violent crackdown” CNN leads in its title with:
“…riot police stepped in early Saturday and “brutally dispersed” several hundred people who were demonstrating peacefully in support of Ukraine’s European integration, according to a statement from Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Forceful dispersion of peaceful demonstrations does not help the cause of Ukraine’s integration with Europe,” ministry spokesman Marcin Wojciechowski said. “We caution Ukrainian authorities against using force as it may carry unpredictable and irrevocable consequences.”The United States condemned what it called “violence against protesters” in a statement posted online by the U.S. Embassy in Kiev.
A statement released Saturday by the U.S. State Department said, “We urge Ukraine’s leaders to respect their people’s right to freedom of expression and assembly… We call on the Government of Ukraine to foster a positive environment for civil society and to protect the rights of all Ukrainians to express their views on their country’s future in a constructive and peaceful manner in [Kiev] and in other parts of the country. Violence and intimidation should have no place in today’s Ukraine.”"
Video: Riot police formed a cordon on the streets of Kiev on Sunday to stop protesters from further attempts towards the presidential administration. Earlier, the police drove protesters away with force, after protesters used a bulldozer and impromptu battering rams in an attempt to break police lines. Earlier on Sunday, Kiev's city council was stormed as thousands of pro-EU supporters arrived at Independence Square, despite a ban on protesting there. At the same time, thousands poured into Mikhailovskaya Square for the start of a rally through the streets of the Ukrainian capital.
Ukrainian protesters have used fire and even bulldozers in an attempt to break police barricades, as reported by both the UK Independent and the BBC.

Of course, it should be obvious why the US, UK, and EU, and the Fortune 500 interests that direct the governments of each, are behind the protesters, literally funding most of their activity. The European Union is simply the collectivizing of Europe, the reduction of protectionism that impedes powerful multinationals, and offers corporate-funded policy makers the ability to create one program to apply to all nations at once. Convenient, one-stop corporate-fascism.
The “Bad” Thai Protests
In stark contrast, the US has bluntly stated of ongoing Thai protests against the regime of Thaksin Shinawatra and his nepotist-appointed sister, prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra that:
“Violence and the seizure of public or private property are not acceptable means of resolving political differences.”
Additional hypocrisy can be read in the Guardian, another “reputable” Western news source, which takes a similar protest, this time in Thailand, and paints it out as violent, undemocratic rabble. The protests’ target? The regime of Wall Street-backed Thaksin Shinawatra and his nepotist appointed proxy, prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
In the Guardian’s article, “Thailand clashes: PM forced to flee as violent demonstrations escalate,” it states:
A Thai government supporter was shot and killed early on Sunday at protests in Bangkok, raising the death toll to two as protesters invaded a police compound and forced the evacuation of the prime minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, to a secret location.
Some reports said anti-government demonstrators had seized control of the broadcaster Thai PBS.
Police backed up by the military were attempting to protect government buildings amid the deadly street clashes between supporters and opponents of Yingluck and her billionaire brother, the ousted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Anti-government protesters on Sunday broke into the compound of a police sports club where the prime minister had been during the morning but she was able to leave the premises and went to an undisclosed location, an aide said.
In another area of the city police fired teargas at protesters near Government House, where Yingluck’s office is located, a Reuters witness said.
Video: A city bus was set alight as protests besiege Bangkok. Protesters are struggling to wrest power from the NWO corporate fascist faux-democracy government of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. The government has urged everyone in the capital to stay indoors at night. Riot police have been deployed in an attempt to break-up the demonstrations, with Thailand's armed forces preparing to deploy thousands of soldiers to secure the streets. The prime minister's office known as the Government House and the police headquarters were defended with tear gas and water cannons. Protests have been ongoing since a government attempt to pass an amnesty law sparked clashes between rival groups. Activists say the law is a thinly veiled ploy to allow the return of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who is currently in self-imposed exile following a conviction for corruption. He is the older brother of Yingluck Shinawatra.
The Guardian intentionally omits at least 3 other confirmed deaths, all students, and all killed and confirmed BEFORE the “government supporter’s” death was reported, in an attempt to portray the protesters as being a murderous mob.

The groups is now pictured in the below article next to an image of a gunman involved in last night’s violence.

There have been reports of both shooters operating in the streets and from rooftops. None of this is mentioned in the Western press.

The violence actually took place on the other side of Bangkok, away from ongoing anti-regime protests, where the regime was holding its own “counter-rally.” Thousands of students from a nearby university began protesting the disruptive, 24 hour a day, week long rally. After warning the students to disperse, regime leaders unleashed black-clad militants who were captured on video and in photographs firing on students. For hours, the students had been surrounded and continuously shot at – clashes continued as encircled students attempted to break out and escape. It was in these clashes, not the protests, that the deaths occurred – a fact no unsuspecting reader would know if they depended on the Guardian for their daily news.
And while the Western press calls the Ukrainian riot measures “violent,” no mention of similar “violent crackdowns” can be seen in the Western media regarding the Thai protests despite the regime using both Ukraine’s methods of crowd control as well as armed militants who have already claimed several lives.
Why is the West Defending the Thai Regime?
The regime of Thaksin Shinawatra and his sister, Yingluck Shinawatra, have been backed by the West for nearly a decade, and brother Thaksin even before first taking office in 2001.
Thaksin had been prime minister from 2001-2006. Long before Thaksin Shinwatra would become prime minister in Thailand, he was already working his way up the Wall Street-London ladder of opportunity, while simultaneously working his way up in Thai politics. He was appointed by the Carlyle Group as an adviser while holding public office, and attempted to use his connections to boost his political image. Thanong Khanthong of Thailand’s English newspaper “the Nation,” wrote in 2001:
“In April 1998, while Thailand was still mired in a deep economic morass, Thaksin tried to use his American connections to boost his political image just as he was forming his Thai Rak Thai Party. He invited Bush senior to visit Bangkok and his home, saying his own mission was to act as a “national matchmaker” between the US equity fund and Thai businesses. In March, he also played host to James Baker III, the US secretary of state in the senior Bush administration, on his sojourn in Thailand.”
Upon becoming prime minister in 2001, Thaksin would begin paying back the support he received from his Western sponsors. In 2003, he would commit Thai troops to the US invasion of Iraq, despite widespread protests from both the Thai military and the public. Thaksin would also allow the CIA to use Thailand for its abhorrent rendition program.
In 2004, Thaksin attempted to ramrod through a US-Thailand Free-Trade Agreement (FTA) without parliamentary approval, backed by the US-ASEAN Business Council who just before last year’s 2011elections that saw Thaksin’s sister Yingluck Shinawatra brought into power, hosted the leaders of Thaksin’s “red shirt” “United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship” (UDD).

Thaksin would remain in office until September of 2006. On the eve of the military coup that ousted him from power, Thaksin was literally standing before the Fortune 500-funded Council on Foreign Relations giving a progress report in New York City.
Since the 2006 coup that toppled his regime, Thaksin has been represented by US corporate-financier elites via their lobbying firms including, Kenneth Adelman of the Edelman PR firm (Freedom House, International Crisis Group, PNAC), James Baker of Baker Botts (CFR), Robert Blackwill of Barbour Griffith & Rogers (CFR), Kobre & Kim, Bell Pottinger and currently Robert Amsterdam of Amsterdam & Peroff (Chatham House).
Robert Amsterdam of Amsterdam & Peroff, would also simultaneously represent Thaksin’s “red shirt” UDD movement, and was present for the inaugural meeting of the so-called “academic” Nitirat group, attended mostly by pro-Thaksin red shirts (who literally wore their red shirts to the meeting). Additional support for Thaksin and his UDD street-front is provided by the US State Department via National Endowment for Democracy-funded “NGO” Prachatai.
It is clear that the West has invested astronomical amounts of time and resources into the Shinwatra regime, and its condemnation of anti-regime protesters constitutes the West attempting to protect their investments, not any ideal of “rule of law” or “democracy.”
What Thais Can Learn from the Ukraine Protests
The pro-EU protests in Ukraine have used bulldozers to break through police barricades. This has not been condemned by the West, and as long as Thai protesters ensure to protect the lives of by-standers and police, similar measures must surely be seen as “acceptable” international “norms.” For Thai protesters, however, it is unlikely that they would benefit from or even desire driving a bulldozer at fellow countrymen, and could instead use large vehicles to breach walls where police cannot defend, in order to gain access to government buildings.
Fire also seems to be an acceptable means of protest. Called “peaceful” by the United States and other pro-EU governments, in both Ukraine and in previous, pro-regime rallies in Thailand, fire can be used (and should only be used) to create defensive barriers to limit the forward movement of police. It should be placed far ahead of police to force them to make lengthy preparations to breach such barriers. In this time, protesters can than move to better strategic positions to achieve their objectives.
And while protests in the Ukraine supported by the “international community” may give Thais several cues on what to do, they also give Thais the opportunity to show that they are better.
While the Ukraine protesters represent hooligans, racists, bigots, and literally entire parties promoting neo-Nazism such as Svoboda mentioned in this BBC article (Nazi background here), who cannot be guaranteed to not eventually resort to escalating levels of violence, the Thai protesters must remain peaceful. Police that are overwhelmed should be treated with dignity and reminded that they are fellow countrymen and not the true targets of the protesters nor their goal – but rather the goal of us all – the removal of corporate-financier interests dictated from afar.
Thai monarchy - a hindrance to democracy?
In his birthday speech, Thailand's deeply revered king called on his people to maintain unity after the recent anti-government protests. But the monarchy, too, has played a part in the current political unrest.
During his traditional birthday address to the nation, Thai monarch Bhumibol Adulyadej asked his fellow countrymen to work together for the stability of the nation. On the occasion of his 86th Birthday, the monarch said: "Our country has long experienced happiness because we have been united in performing our duties and working together for the good of the whole country." The king did not comment directly on the protests, which escalated over the weekend. With his speech he fulfilled his important role as a unifying figure in Thai society, as he is respected by all sides. His words carry weight and have the power to unite the country. But at the same time, the royal house and the 86-year old monarch are also part of the problem. "The protests of the past few days are just a struggle for dominance of the country's political system after the succession to the throne," says an expert who declined to be identified in the media citing lèse-majesté law, which forbids any critical speech against the king, his family or the monarchy. Violators of the law face imprisonment in Thailand. Human rights organizations have been criticizing this statute for many years. Since its introduction in 1908, it has been repeatedly used to silence political opponents. According to Brad Adams, Asia director of Human Rights Watch, the courts seem to have increasingly become the main protectors of the monarchy. "It comes at the expense of freedom of expression," Adams told DW, referring to the condemnation of Thai activist Somyot Pruksakaemsuk in January 2013.

The anti-defamation law is only the visible expression of a much more deep-rooted problem: the sweeping powers of the monarchy beyond the reach of any controls. Officially, Thailand has been a constitutional monarchy since 1932, a form of government that limits the powers of a ruler through a constitution. In Thailand, however, the limitations on royal powers are not very transparent, according to Jost Pachaly from the Heinrich-Boll-Foundation in Bangkok. Thai activist Somyot Pruksakasemsuk was handed an 11-year sentence. "The monarchy plays an important role behind the scenes. But the role is difficult to assess because nothing is reported about it and no one really knows anything specific," he said. The diffuse powers of the monarchy contribute to the ongoing power struggles inside the country. Asia expert, Marco Bünte, of the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), described Thailand's history as a "vicious circle of military coups, constitutions, crises and renewed military coups." When the current king ascended the throne in 1946, the monarchy was in a shambles, as explained by Paul M. Handley in his royal biography "The King Never Smiles." In the years that followed, however, the king and other members of the royal family won back control, thanks to the British Royal (Rothschild puppet) founded, trained and controlled media, education, music and entertainment, ..."Bhumibol's ability to regain power and respect for the monarchy was no accident, but rather the fruit of a tireless, decisive and sometimes unscrupulous effort by the persevering prince." The king's powers rest, above all, on his moral integrity and reputation. The image of a god-like Buddhist king - a Dharma Raja - was created with the help of enormous financial and propagandistic resources. Many Thais, even today, still view the king in this light. The trick, Handley noted, is "to exercise power without having any political power." In Thailand, this ordinarily occurs through the secret Privy Council consisting of former members of the government and military who still maintain intimate ties to the corridors of power.
The Real Thai and the World government
Decisions by the council are made in secret and therefore circumvent any kind of democratic control. In other words, the country has developed over the years into a sort of Buddhist-theocratic society under the motto "nation, religion and king." In addition to the king's charisma and prestige on which his extensive powers rest, there is also his wealth, which could damage his Buddha-like image, despite the fact that it does not belong to him, like the British Royals are the Rothschild puppets, Thai Royals are also subservient to them. The Crown Property Bureau (CPB) are owned by the Illuminati who have complete control of Thailand: - the Rothschild control Thai central bank with the center in Basel, the Bank of International settlement, the Central Bank of the Central Banks. - the Reynolds and other Illuminati control Buddhism religion with the center based at the Vatican - the Rockefellers and a few others control the Thai and the rest of the world energy - Thai stock "displays" the Baht value and the price of every good and services that is produced in Thailand and around the world, a speculative gambling manipulated by Wall Street and the "City" in the city of London, the Illuminati financial center. Like the Federal Reserve Bank in the US, The CPB is a completely "independent" institution and is not part of the palace administration, the state, or a Thai private company. It not only administers the real estate of the royal family but also owns shares in the country's largest corporations. And it pays no taxes. It is difficult to judge just how wealthy Thailand's monarchy is, but Forbes magazine estimates that it spends more than 370 million euros annually ($495 million) in the Illuminati Public Relation works. The political and economic clout of the royal family is a problem because no one is allowed to report on it due to the anti-defamation law," Pachaly said. It also makes the democratic decision-making process difficult as the key factors remain opaque and not open to public scrutiny. Furthermore, the lèse-majesté law is used as a tool to imprison political opponents in an increasingly polarized country. The mere allegation that someone has insulted the king is sufficient in some cases to end a political career. Although a national reconciliation process has been initiated, after a wave of protests which erupted in 2010, not much has been achieved. Pachaly says "Everyone talks about the reconciliation process, but there is no progress, because the two main groups remain stuck in their positions, waiting for the other side to give in." The recent turmoil is a proof of this and the old age of the king aggravates the situation even further. The supporters of the current government intend to expand their influence over the monarchy during the transition from the present king to his successor, a scary thought for the royal family and the old elites, says the unnamed source. "The royal palace is naturally afraid of republican ideas."

Professional propagandists like News Corporations (Fox News), Bloomberg, and Reuters, as well as public relations firms like Edelman, who make the vast criminal conspiracies of the above mentioned possible, also constitute the antithesis of "democracy promotion."

Indeed, the most obscene chapters in modern human history have been written by these corporate-financier interests who span nations, transcend "democratic elections," trigger wars of aggression for profit and the projection of their own power under the guise of a myriad of lies and propaganda, while accumulating, each in their own right, a mountain of human rights atrocities against people all around the world - from the Niger Delta, to the rain forests of South America, to the ravaged and subjugated people of Iraq and Afghanistan, to the oil fields of Libya and even the Gulf of Mexico in North America. They literally are the bane of humanity, the crux of all problems, the source of the peoples of the world's torment, the architects of human misery on the grandest of all imaginable scales, unparalleled throughout all of human history. So then, one must question the merits of receiving "awards" handed out by organizations sponsored by and representing the collective interests of such corporate-financier interests. Who, in good consciousness, could except such awards? Surely a useful idiot at best, a deceitful, dark emissary of their nefarious agenda at worst.To fully appreciate the implications involved with the West's celebrated "democracy champion" Aung San Suu Kyi receiving showers of awards during her recent visit to the United States, we must fully understand those doing the showering.
The National Endowment for Democracy
The National Endowment for Democracy, despite the lofty mission statement articulated on its website, is nothing more than a tool for executing American foreign policy. Just as the military is used under the cover of lies regarding WMD's and "terrorism," NED is employed under the cover of bringing "democracy" to "oppressed" people. However, a thorough look at NED's board of directors, as well as the board of trustees of its subsidiary, Freedom House, definitively lays to rest any doubts that may be lingering over the true nature of these organizations and the causes they support.Upon NED's board of directors we first find John Bohn who traded petrochemicals, was an international banker for 13 years with Wells Fargo, and is currently serving as a principal for a global advisory and consulting firm, GlobalNet Partners, which assists foreign businesses by making their "entry into the complex China market easy." Surely Bohn's ability to manipulate China's political landscape through NED's various activities both inside of China and along its peripheries constitutes an alarming conflict of interest. However, it appears "conflict of interest" is a reoccurring theme throughout both NED and Freedom House.Bohn is joined by Rita DiMartino who worked for Council on Foreign Relations corporate member AT&T as "Vice President of Congressional Relations" as well as a member of the CFR herself. Also representing the Fortune 500 is Kenneth Duberstein, a board member of the war profiteering Boeing Company, big oil's ConocoPhillips, and the Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. Duberstein also served as a director of Fannie Mae until 2007. He too is a CFR member as are two of the companies he chairs, Boeing and ConocoPhillips.

We then consider several of the certified warmongers serving upon NED's board of directors including Francis Fukuyama, Zalmay Khalilzad, Will Marshall, and Vin Weber, all signatories of the pro-war, pro-corporate Project for a New American Century. Within the pages of documents produced by this "think tank" are pleas to various US presidents to pursue war against sovereign nations, the increase of troops in nations already occupied by US forces, and what equates to a call for American global hegemony in a Hitlerian 90 page document titled "Rebuilding Americas Defenses." As we will see, this warmongering think tank serves as a nexus around which fellow disingenuous rights advocate Freedom House also gravitates.The "Statement of Principles," signed off by NED chairmen Francis Fukuyama, Zalmay Khalilzad, and Vin Weber, states, "we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles." Of course by "international order" they mean meddling beyond the sovereign borders of the United States and is merely used as a euphemism for global imperialism. Other Neo-Con that signed their name to this statement include Freedom House's Paula Dobriansky, Dan Quayle (formerly), and Donald Rumsfeld (formerly), along with Paul Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney, Eliot Cohen, and Elliot Abrams.A PNAC "Statment on Post-War Iraq" regarding a wholehearted endorsement of nation-building features the signatures of NED chairman Will Marshall, Freedom House's Frank Carlucci (2002), and James Woolsey(formerly), along with Martin Indyk (Lowy Institute board member, co-author of the conspiring "Which Path to Persia?" report), and William Kristol and Robert Kagan both of the warmongering Foreign Policy Initiative. It should be noted that the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) is, for all intents and purposes, PNAC's latest incarnation and just recently featured an open letter to House Republicans calling on them to disregard the will of the American people and continue pursuing the war in Libya. The FPI letter even suggests that the UN resolution authorizing the war in the first place, was holding America "hostage" and that it should be exceeded in order to do more to "help the Libyan opposition." The Atlantic Council
The Atlantic Council claims to be a "preeminent, non partisan institution devoted to promoting transatlantic cooperation and international security." It is partnered with NATO - representing the collective corporate-financier interests that drive NATO's current existence, its agenda, and the direction it proceeds into the future with.The board of directors includes a bi-partisan representation - revealing the truly singular agenda pursued by the corporate-financier elite merely under the guise of various false political paradigms. Board members include, Brent Scowcroft, Henry Kissinger, former US State Department Director of Policy Planning under President Obama Anne-Marie Slaughter, Madeleine Albright, MEK terrorist coddlers US Army General Wesley Clark and USMC General and former National Security Adviser under President Obama, James Jones, Neo-Cons Richard Armitage, Paula Dobriansky, Eric Edelman, James Woolsey, James Baker, Frank Carlucci, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and George Shultz.

If readers are wondering why an alleged "Democrat" president is carrying out the wars and hegemonic foreign policy of his Neo-Conservative predecessor, a corporate-financier driven nexus like the Atlantic Council would be a good place to begin searching for the answers. Whether these wars are "successful" or not is inconsequential, because no matter how many American soldiers are killed or maimed, and no matter how drained America's taxpayers become, the corporate-financiers always get their paycheck, their agendas always advanced. The Atlantic Council and the National Endowment for Democracy are just two of many think-tank/lobbying fronts that represent the collective interests of the Fortune 500 of Wall Street and London. It is clear that if one wanted to go about making the world a better place, they would begin with a serious examination of the sponsorship of the Atlantic Council and NED, their sources of power, and how to undermine, boycott, and replace them entirely. Surely, one would not step foot within the halls of any of these institutions, shake the bloodied hands of any of its many co-conspirators, let alone play part in one of their public relations charades.However, that is exactly what one supposed "champion" of democracy and human rights has done - inexplicable unless of course this "champion" is nothing of the sort.
Aung San Suu Kyi - Fraud, Fascist, and Fool.
Flanked by war criminals, corporate-fascists, and warmongers, Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar (still called by its British imperial nomenclature "Burma" by the Western press) toured Washington D.C. showered with awards including the "Congressional Gold Medal," and the Atlantic Council's "Global Citizen Award." Suu Kyi would also provide a key address for the Neo-Conservative, corporate-fascist National Endowment for Democracy's 2012 "Democracy Award" ceremony.

"I stand here strong in the knowledge that I am among friends," Suu Kyi said in the Capitol rotunda as she finally accepted the Congressional Gold Medal, which Congress awarded her in absentia in 2008 when she was still confined in Myanmar.
The charade continued with Senator John McCain, who has most recently conspired with Al Qaeda in the city of Benghazi, Libya and on the Turkish-Syrian border for a series of preplanned violent regime changes, claiming:
I consider myself very fortunate to have lived to see this day and to know the people of Burma, whose dignity and rights Aung San Suu Kyi has sacrificed so much to defend, and will one day be free to live with dignity and justice and hope.
Myanmar, rich in natural resources, and with a large population ripe for exploitation, as well as strategically located in relation to the West's strategy versus China, clearly represents an attractive target for the corporate-financier sponsors and representatives of both the National Endowment for Democracy and the Atlantic Council. In reality then, all Suu Kyi is doing is assisting in the creation of US-funded institutions in Myanmar to create a US-backed political order to serve Western corporate-financier interests, just as the British had done to the nation at the height of the its empire, and as all empires have done throughout the ages. Suu Kyi's entire movement is in fact a creation of joint US-British funding, political, and covert support. In "Myanmar (Burma) "Pro-Democracy" Movement a Creation of Wall Street & London," it was documented that Suu Kyi and organizations supporting her, including local propaganda fronts like the New Era Journal, the Irrawaddy, and the Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB) radio, have received millions of dollars a year from the Neo-Conservative chaired National Endowment for Democracy, convicted criminal and Wall Street speculator George Soros' Open Society Institute, and the US State Department itself, citing Britain's own "Burma Campaign UK (.pdf)."

And not only does the US State Department in tandem with Western corporate media provide Aung San Suu Kyi extensive political, financial, and rhetorical backing, they provide operational capabilities as well, allowing her opposition movement to achieve Western objectives throughout Myanmar. The latest achievement of this operational capability successfully blocked the development of Myanmar's infrastructure by halting a joint China-Mynamar dam project that would have provided thousands of jobs, electricity, state-revenue, flood control, and enhanced river navigation for millions. Suu Kyi and her supporting network of NGOs, as well as armed militants in Myanmar's northern provinces conducted a coordinated campaign exploiting both "environmental" and "human rights" concerns that in reality resulted in Myanmar's continual economic and social stagnation.The ultimate goal of course is to effect regime change not only in Myanmar, but to create a united Southeast Asian front against China.As reported in June, 2011's "Collapsing China," as far back as 1997 there was talk about developing an effective containment strategy coupled with the baited hook of luring China into its place amongst the "international order." Just as in these 1997 talking-points where author and notorious Neo-Con policy maker Robert Kagan described the necessity of using America's Asian "allies" as part of this containment strategy, Clinton goes through a list of regional relationships the US is trying to cultivate to maintain "American leadership" in Asia.

Ironically, her supporters who had used the tactic to support Suu Kyi and others in her movement, are now writing pro-genocide slogans on their hands.

Suu Kyi's saintly persona has been recently betrayed by the rank and file of her movement, who have been revealed as genocidal, sectarian bigots now carrying out a nationwide campaign against ethnic Rohingya. Suu Kyi's supporters, like other Western proxies in Libya, Syria, and beyond, are indeed not the "pro-democratic," "enlightened" forces they are portrayed as, and as their movement betrays decades of carefully crafted Western propaganda, Suu Kyi and her followers are quickly becoming liabilities rather than the celebrated assets they have long been. This may in fact be why Suu Kyi has been slated for this public relations stunt in the first place - an attempt to salvage a faltering public image. Suu Kyi is either a fool for believing the superficial rhetoric a demonstrably self-serving corporate-fascist agenda is selling her, or foolish to believe she can betray her people as an agent of foreign corporate-financier interests without consequence. Regardless of her intentions, she is helping not only in the exploitation and oppression of her own people by foreign neo-imperial interests, but contributing to supranational meddling throughout Southeast Asia and the encirclement and destabilization of China. She is a facilitator against, not a champion for, human progress and world peace.Whether her eyes can detect the blood covering the accolades she lines her shelves with or not, the blood is still there. If Aung San Suu Kyi cannot in good conscience end her associations with the bane of humanity, we, as humanity, cannot in good conscience support her or her agenda. Her rhetoric is no different than that of Senator John McCain's, spoken with nefarious interests just below the superficially appealing surface. Unlike McCain, she has managed to defraud millions of people both within Myanmar and around the world - thanks to the help of the BBC and Hollywood. Suu Kyi is just one of many frauds facilitating the ambitions of the corporate-financier elite - but her example is perhaps the most transparent and illustrative in regards to how the corporate-financier elite operate, how they deceive and manipulate the masses with appealing narratives and charismatic personalities, and how they use the reputations and legitimacy of their institutions they themselves have created to sell their agenda of global domination as its very antithesis - as "freedom," "democracy," and "human rights."

The Polish health minister, a family doctor, argued the vaccines were inadequately tested. This terrible assassination of an entire government just like the death of John F Kennedy before he could implement plans to re-nationalise the Federal Reserve, that the financial elite will stop at nothing to impose their financial model on the world, and any government thinking of leaving the eurozone would be well advised to take extra security measures for it's members wouldn't you say? Peaceful Solution
In Iceland, the people have made the government resign, the primary banks have been nationalized and it was decided not to pay the debt that these created with …Great Britain (owned by House of Windsor) and Holland (owned by the King dynasty) due to their bad financial politics, and a public assembly has been created to rewrite the constitution.
And all of this has been done in a peaceful way. A whole revolution against the powers that have created the current crisis.
This is why there hasn’t been any publicity during the last two years: What would happen if the rest of the EU citizens took this as an example? What would happen if the US citizens took this as an example?
This is a summary of the facts:
2008. The main bank of the country is nationalized. The Krona, the currency of Iceland devaluates and the stock market stops. The country is in bankruptcy.
2008. The citizens protest in front of parliament and manage to get new elections that make the resignation of the prime minister and his whole government.
The country is in bad economic situation. A law proposes paying back the debt to Great Britain and Holland through the payment of 3,500 million euros, which will be paid by the people of Iceland monthly during the next 15 years, with a 5.5% interest.
2010. The people go out in the streets and demand a referendum. In January 2010 the president denies the approval and announces a popular meeting.
In March the referendum and the denial of payment is voted in by 93%. Meanwhile the government has initiated an investigation to bring to justice those responsible for the crisis, and many high level executives and bankers are arrested.
The Interpol dictates an order that make all the implicated parties leave the country.
In this crisis an assembly is elected to rewrite a new Constitution which can include the lessons learned from this, and which will substitute the current one (a copy of the Danish Constitution). 25 citizens are chosen, with no political affiliation, out of the 522 candidates. For candidacy all that was needed was to be an adult and have the support of 30 people.
The constitutional assembly starts in February of 2011 to present the ‘carta magna’ from the recommendations given by the different assemblies happening throughout the country. It must be approved by the current Parliament and by the one constituted through the next legislative elections.So in summary of the Icelandic revolution: -resignation of the whole government -nationalization of the bank. -referendum so that the people can decide over the economic decisions. -incarcerating the responsible parties -rewriting of the constitution by its people.

A lesson for South East Asia
For SouthEast Asia as a whole, a interest free, fix exchange rates public credit system must be created. The system will provide a mighty haven to fund mega infrastructure as highlighted here through citizens owned public division (not private corporations) such as water and energy, healthcare, transportation, education, defense, research, import-export, finance, tourism, ... :
